Each customer has a Project Folder with shared documents accessible by members of their project team and RoleMapper Implementation staff.
This folder includes information such as:
- Project Meeting Notes
- Training Materials
- Configuration Details
- etc.
NOTE - This folder is only designed to be accessed by the core project team and not general RoleMapper users within the organisation. If you believe you require access to this folder please contact your RoleMapper project Lead who can discuss with your implementation manager.
How To Access The Shared Folder
NOTE - It is critically important that these steps are followed each time you wish to access the shared project folder, failure to do so may result in you being refused access
- Upon being invited to the Shared Project Folder you will receive an email from one of us at RoleMapper saying we have shared a folder with you that looks like the below, Save this email or the exact link from it as you will need this each time you wish to access the folder:

Click “Open” to go to the shared folder
NOTE - You will usually be asked to verify your identity on accessing your link, please follow the instructions in the "How To Verify Your Identity" section within this article
How To Verify Your Identity
- Upon clicking your unique access link you may be asked to verify your identity, to do this enter your Email address in the box provided and click "Next" ( THIS MUST BE THE EMAIL WE SENT THE INVITE OUT TO):
- You will then shortly be Emailed a code, enter this code in the box provided within your web browser and click "Verify":
- You will then have access to the shared folder - remember you must use the exact link given in the email to access the Shared folder, do not bookmark any pages you access after clicking the link as they wont remember your verification.
How Do I Request Access To The RoleMapper Shared Project Folder?
Access is provided on an invite only basis and is usually given automatically to the key project team. However if you believe you need access please contact either your internal RoleMapper project lead or your RoleMapper Implementation Manager to request access and then follow the process above.
Troubleshooting
It is saying I "Don't Have Permission To View" -
Make sure you are only trying to access using the provided link, bookmarking the page after login will not work, you must use the original access link as this is personalised to you (this link can also not be shared with any colleagues).
Web Browser -
To ensure compatibility please only use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, other browsers may not work correctly.
Different Microsoft Account Logged In -
Make sure you are not logged in to a different Microsoft account (even for a different tab or different Microsoft application/website). Log out using the top right hand side account bubble before trying to access the RoleMapper Shared Project Folder.
