NOTE - Depending on your role and organisational settings you may see more or less options on your Job Documents. This article discusses generic elements of Job Documents and specific articles will give additional detail on individual sections.
Job Documents are at the heart of RoleMapper and include Job Profiles, Job Descriptions and Job Adverts. Different Organisations make use of different Job Documents within the RoleMapper platform but they all share a common interface for working on them.
Job Documents Overview
- Back Button - Click here to close the Job Document and go back to the previous page you were viewing.

Action Buttons - These buttons allow you to carry out various action on your documents.
NOTE - The action buttons visible to you will differ based on your user role, document status and organisation.

Hierarchy Information - This section includes information on the hierarchy of the Job Document. Clicking in this section allows you to view/edit this information (if you have permission).

Language - Clicking here will allow you to translate the Job Document into other languages.
NOTE - This function is not relevant or available for some customers
- Database - Access the database to view related documents, library documents, AI content and External content (Click here for the Database Overview Guide).
- Upload Content - Upload a file as a related document to this Job Document (Click here for the How to Upload a Document to Use With a Job Document Guide).
- Audit Trail - View the full audit information for this document (Click here for the Audit Trail Overview Guide)
- Document Status - Shows the current document status. Document statuses are unique per organisation but commonly include Draft, Approved, Archived etc.
- Job Document Content - This section holds the content of the job document, clicking into an editable section will let you change the content (if you have permission). Some sections within this area will be "locked" content and will not be able to be edited, these are identified by a padlock.
- Document Inclusion and Quality Panel - This section displays the document's Inclusion and Quality Score along with information on any errors or warnings that are affecting that score. (Click here for the Document Inclusion and Quality Panel Overview Guide)
