NOTE - Job Architecture is not available for all Organisations/Users. If you feel you need acces to Job Architecture, contact your local RoleMapper admin or your RoleMapper Account Manager.
RoleMapper allows you to edit and create different Job Architecture views so you can view your information in the exact way that will be most useful to you.
Edit/Create a View
- From any Job Architecture view you will have access to the "Report Designer" button
- You will see the following menu added to the bottom of your screen:
- You can add, remove or edit as many fields as you like across both the vertical and horizontal access (meaning each axis can show multiple data points). You can also add data points to provide further broken down detail.
The Measures button allows you to add elements like Employee count (where available) - The editing controls are as below:
- Once you close the Report Designer menu you will be able to see your newly designed view
Save a View
- When you edit a view you will notice that the icon next to the name of your current view changes to include an orange "Save" icon indicating unsaved changes have been made to this view.
- Clicking the 3 vertical dots next to this icon opens the save menu.
- From here you have 2-3 options (depending on user role and permissions)
- Save View - This saves over the existing view and will change the view fro all users (This option is only available to admin users and should be used with caution)
- Save View As - Allows you to save the view with a new name making a new saved view (depending on platform settings this may be available to just the creator or to all users)
- Reset View - This resets the view to the previously saved state
Loading a Saved View
- If you have created a view and wish to reload it at a later date simply click on the current view name within job Architecture.
- Then select your view from the list.
Adding a Saved View to the Job Architecture Menu
It is possible to edit the buttons on the top right-hand Job Architecture menu and include user created views here.
- Click the "Customise Shortcuts" button.
- Then click to "Add Shortcut".
- Then:
- Select your saved view.
- Choose the position it will appear on the shortcut bar.
- Choose the icon it will be represented by.
- Choose if it will be the default Job Architecture view.
- Click "Save to save the shortcut bar.
