NOTE - This article discusses the default setup for Review Groups in RoleMapper. Many organisations have custom roles, permissions and flows for Review Groups which may differ from this standard setup. Please check the "Organisation Specific Content" section for your organisation to see your specific setup.
Review Groups is the name given to the process in RoleMapper whereby you can review, improve and approve Job Documents.
- Individuals can be assigned to a group with a specific role
- Their role dictates their permissions, Tasks and actions
- Multiple documents can be assigned to each Review Group
- Each document can only be in one review group
- The same individual can be in multiple review groups, with the same or different roles. E.g. they can be a 'reviewer' in one and an 'approver' in another
Review Group Roles
The standard roles in a Review Group are:

| Reviewer - Reviews the Job Document and provides suggestions of possible changes required |

| Contributor - Responds to the feedback and edits the document |
|
| Approver - Has the final say on if a document gets approved or requires further changes |

Document Statuses
The standard document statuses in a Review Group are:
- Draft - The original document without any changes
- Reviewed - Document with comments from a reviewer ready to be edited
- Pending Approval - Edited document awaiting approval
- Rejected - Document has been rejected and requires further edits
- Approved - Document has been approved and is ready for use
